BLE/Bluetooth Gateway

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), also known simply as Bluetooth, is a wireless communication technology designed for short-range connectivity with low power consumption. Originally introduced as part of the Bluetooth 4.0 specification, BLE enables devices to communicate with minimal energy use, making it ideal for battery-operated devices such as wearables, smart home devices, and IoT applications.

The technology is particularly suited for applications requiring infrequent data transmission, such as health monitoring (e.g., fitness trackers and heart rate monitors), smart locks, and home automation systems. BLE's ability to quickly connect and disconnect devices further enhances its efficiency.
